Our goal at Peoples Bank is to provide access to personal and business banking services and help the people in our community through quality services and outstanding customer service.
Peoples Bank of East Tennessee is proud to announce exciting leadership updates within the organization, reflecting its ongoing commitment to employee growth, exceptional service, and strong community ties.
Diane Belcher, a long-time member of the Peoples Bank team, will be returning to the Main Office as AVP, Loan Officer, and Loan Processor. Diane has been with Peoples Bank since 2010 and has served in several roles, including Loan Officer and Branch Manager at the Vonore Branch. With the relocation of the Business Banking Center to Maryville, Diane’s transition back to the Main Office brings her wealth of experience and dedication full circle.
Stepping into the role of Branch Manager at the Vonore Branch is Becky Duncil, who joined Peoples Bank in April 2024. With prior management experience and a strong background in lending, Becky has quickly established herself as a valued member of the team. In addition to her managerial duties, Becky will continue working with both in-house and secondary market loans, ensuring the Vonore community continues to receive the personalized banking experience they deserve.
Shelby Hunt has also accepted a new role within the organization, transitioning to a position that focuses on Mortgage Loan Review and Real Estate Adverse Actions under the leadership of Melanie Baxter. Shelby began her career with Peoples Bank in 2021 as a Teller and advanced to a Consumer Loan Processor. Her dedication, attention to detail, and strong work ethic have made her an integral part of the team, and her new role will further strengthen the bank’s lending operations.
In North Georgia, Peoples Bank of North Georgia, a division of Peoples Bank of East Tennessee, is thrilled to welcome Maureen Price to the team as AVP/Loan Officer Assistant at the Blue Ridge location. Maureen brings over 18 years of experience in retail banking, lending, customer service, and branch management. Her extensive background in banking and her bright personality will be a tremendous asset to the Blue Ridge community.
“These changes reflect our commitment to developing talent from within and attracting experienced professionals who share our values of service and community,” said Beth Henry of Peoples Bank. “We are incredibly proud of Diane, Becky, and Maureen and are confident they will continue to make a positive impact in their respective roles.”
