Q: Why am I receiving a new card?
A: We’re updating our debit cards to Visa. Your new card will work the same way you’re used to, with no changes to your account.
Q: When will my new card arrive?
A: You should receive your card by early April.
Q: What do I need to do when my new card arrives?
A: Activate, update your PIN, and begin using your card as soon as you receive it. Follow the instructions included in the mailer, and destroy your old card once the new one is activated.
Q: Will my current card stop working?
A: Your Mastercard will stop working 30 days after you receive your new debit card in the mail.
Q: Can I still access my account at the ATM?
A: Yes. You will be able to use your debit card at the ATM.
Q: What will happen with automatic, card-on-file, and recurring bill payments on my card?
A: Once you receive your new card, you’ll need to update your new account number, expiration date, and security code to merchants who regularly bill this account. This may include cable and internet providers, streaming services, insurance companies, food delivery services, utilities, subscription services, as well as online merchants where you shop regularly.
Q: Will digital wallet services be affected?
A: Yes. You’ll need to update your digital wallet with your new card information. This includes Apple Pay, Google Pay, and any other wallets or payment apps where your old card is stored.
